Say goodbye to beavers, or, Beavers, rather.

Beavers Coffee + Donuts, the popular Chicago doughnut truck, has undergone a rebranding, ditching its animal mascot in favor of a new name and approach, dubbed The Dapper Doughnut. The change took effect last weekend, per a press release, but don’t worry about the taste. The product remains the same.

Beavers has been around since 2011, with several mobile trucks and a storefront location in the Chicago French Market. Following “the attention of a new investor team and franchise experts,” Beaver’s began opening new locations roughly one year ago — first in Las Vegas — and now will undergo the Dapper rebranding.

To celebrate the occasion, The Dapper Doughnut’s location in the French Market will be giving away free four-packs of doughnuts through closing at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Head over to get some free sweets, and check out the new digs.
