You don’t have to travel to a galaxy far, far away to quench your thirst because Replay Lincoln Park is bringing the Wretched Hive Cantina to Earth for a “Star Wars” Pop-Up Bar this Friday, which is incidentally Star Wars fans’ favorite date (May 4), as it closely sounds like the Jedi motto, “May the Force be with you.”
The pop-up is dedicated to the newest installment of the space saga, “Solo: A Star Wars Story.” The front bar will be transformed into the bar at Mos Eisley spaceport in “Star Wars Episode IV,” where Luke Skywalker and crew meet Han Solo for the first time.
The pop-up will have a cantina band and specialty cocktails named after “Star Wars” elements, like the Dark and Stormy Trooper, the Kylo Ren-Tini, and the Wretched Blue Milk, made with Stoli Vanilla, Rumchata, creme de cacao, blue curacao, vanilla simple syrup and whipped cream. There will also be Galaxy Series beer from Revolution Brewing.
“With the new ‘Star Wars’ movie coming out May 25, we wanted to give guests an opportunity to experience the world of ‘Star Wars’ like never before,” said Mark Kwiatkowski, owner of Replay Lincoln Park in a press release. “‘Star Wars’ has been a fan favorite for decades, and we are so excited to transform Replay into such a unique and nostalgic environment.”
Also, there will be “Star Wars”-themed trivia Thursday night. Guests are invited to dress up for the entirety of the pop-up, and on Saturday, the best cosplayer will win a cash prize.
“May the Fourth be with you,” indeed.
