Andrean High School continues to offer a Catholic faith-centered and mission-driven college preparatory experience for students across Northwest Indiana.

“We seek to provide students with a moral and intellectual foundation that they may use as a guide into their lives beyond Andrean,” Principal Dr. Anthony Bonta says.

Readers of the Post-Tribune Newspaper voted for Andrean High School as their Neighbors’ Choice in the annual awards contest.

The small classroom setting provides students with the personal attention needed for their education and formation. Entering its 59th year as a highly respected state-ranked school, Andrean strives to ensure that students are ready for their future.

Andrean prepares students for a life-long commitment to faith, learning, leadership and service in an ever-changing society.

The school opened its doors in 1959 to its first class. Since its inception, students have experienced incredible success in-and-out of the classroom. Students have competed and won various regional, state and national awards in the classroom and as a part of academic clubs. Andrean’s Spell Bowl team won a State Championship in the fall of 2017. Student-athletes have brought home several Sectional, Regional and State Championships — most recently the girls volleyball team capturing its first state title in team history.

Andrean High School is A-rated and awarded four-stars by the Department of Education. Nearly 99 percent of its students attend four-year colleges and universities, with an average scholarship amount of $55,000 per student. In 2017, four students were named National Merit Scholarship finalists.
