The Bridgeview home field of the Chicago Fire and Chicago Red Stars, now known as Toyota Park, will be renamed SeatGeek Stadium after the end of the Fire’s 2018 season.

It’s the first naming-rights deal for SeatGeek, the online ticket marketplace founded in 2009.

“Chicago is an incredible city for live events, and we look forward to welcoming locals and visitors to SeatGeek Stadium,” company co-founder Russ D’Souza said.

Plans are underway to create more activity around the stadium with the addition of a hotel, new restaurants and retail spaces. A press release announcing the name change also said the Village of Bridgeview and SeatGeek “will work together to bring more live programming to the venue, including premier concerts, music festivals and international sporting events.”
