About 12:29 a.m. Monday, police responded to a stabbing on Margaret Drive, Meyers said in an email. Meyers said officers got to the area and met with the person who had been stabbed at the intersection of Lakewood Creek Drive and Oakmont Drive, which appears slightly northeast of the northeast end of Margaret Drive.
The person stabbed was taken to a hospital and immediately received surgery, Meyers said. On Tuesday, Meyers said the person’s state had stabilized, though he has not provided a more specific condition.
Kendall County, Oswego and Yorkville police agencies assisted Montgomery police, Meyers said.
On Thursday, Meyers said the investigation was almost complete. He did not further respond to questions and no additional information was available Thursday afternoon.
