Caicedo, 21, has been signed on loan for the 2018 season, with an purchase option for 2019, from Colombian second-division side Cortulua.
“We are pleased to add a young player in Luis who displays significant potential at the midfield position,” said general manager Michael Burns in a club statement.
“We believe Luis will help strengthen our central midfield and add to the competition at the position.”
Caicedo enters his fourth professional season. He made 67 starts in 70 appearances, scoring three goals for Cortulua.
