Cook County Sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help in the search for a missing teenage girl from the northwest suburbs and her toddler son.
Katherine Lujano, 17, of unincorporated Des Plaines, and her 18-month-old son Eric Manriquez were last seen around 4 p.m. Friday before she left a note saying she was running away. Police believe she took her son with her.
The sheriff’s office says Katherine is 4-foot-11-inches tall, weighs about 160 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. She has a nose piercing in her left nostril and was last seen wearing a gray Holister hoody and black leggings.

Her son Eric is about 2 feet tall and weighs about 24 pounds.
