as saying on her Instagram story. “You can just get a little, nice buzz to take the edge off.”The digit: $25 million
That’s how much it would have cost Sony to buy the movie rights to nearly every single Marvel character in 1998, according to the Wall Street Journal. At the time, a young executive was tasked with acquiring just the rights to Spider-Man — and when he brought the offer for all the characters back to his bosses at Sony, was allegedly told “Nobody gives a shit about any of the other Marvel characters. The first floor appears to feature a couple of retail spaces — but a new Taco Bell is conspicuously absent. Where will we buy our Crunchwraps and Baja Blast?
‘Shaq Fu’ returns
Shaquille O’Neal will no longer be contained to his roles as NBA analyst, Icy Hot spokesman and sheriff’s deputy: His 1994 video game, “Shaq Fu” is getting a reboot. The original game was a “Mortal Kombat” knockoff for Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis, but, y’know, with Shaq. In the new game’s trailer, developer Wired Productions admits the original game “sucked really bad” but says the new game will be “better than the old one.” “Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn” is planned for this spring on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
