Northwestern hasn’t looked good in many games this season, but the Wildcats will look sharp Thursday on senior night.
The school allowed seniors Bryant McIntosh, Scottie Lindsey and Gavin Skelly to design the game’s Under Armour uniforms, which will be white with light gray pinstripes.
Why the pinstripes?
Lindsey requested them because of his love of the Bulls’ alternate jersey worn during the championship years — black with red pinstripes.

Other touches include the four stars of the Chicago flag, a silhouette of the Chicago skyline, the signatures of the seniors with an ace of spades and the Northwestern purple stripe angled up to “symbolize the upward trajectory of the program.”
Northwestern (15-14) has had a downer of a year, but the Wildcats hope for a rebirth next season in the renovated Welsh-Ryan Arena.
The Wildcats host 13-16 Wisconsin at 6 p.m. Thursday at Allstate Arena.
