I have few words for yet another mass shooting in the United States. This time at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla. Whichever way you look at this, any sane person would say that what we are doing is not working.
Am I advocating for gun control? More stringent background checks? Reviewing how we handle the mentally ill in our culture? Stricter enforcement of our gun laws? Longer sentences for violent offenders?
Maybe. Maybe not.
All I know is I want to hear a rational discussion about real world solutions. Because what we are doing is not working.
