One of two suspects has been charged in the January armed robbery of two people sitting in a parked vehicle on Aurora ‘s West Side.

Myles A. Wisley, 21, of the 1000 block of North Elmwood Drive, Aurora, was booked Wednesday morning in the Kane County jail, where his bail is set at $150,000.

Wisley is charged with a single count of Class X felony armed robbery with a firearm. The charge for the Jan. 3 offense was filed Monday. He’s next due in court Feb. 14 with Kane County Judge David P. Kliment.

Wisley and another man are accused of stealing money from a 36-year-old man he knew and a 25-year-old woman who were parked in the man’s driveway on the 100 block of West New York Street, police spokesman Dan Ferrelli said in an email. Ferrelli said the robbers got the money and left the area on foot.

Police have “a good idea” as to the other suspect’s identity, Ferrelli said.

Wisley took about $260, according to charging documents filed in Kane County Circuit Court through the state’s attorney.

“It appears there is an ongoing dispute between the suspects and the man (who was robbed),” Ferrelli said.
