The Los Angeles Galaxy have re-signed midfielder Baggio Husidic, the club announed Thursday.

Husidic, 30, will return for a fifth season with the club in 2018.

“Baggio has shown that he’s a very reliable and dependable option for us in the midfield,” said heach coachSigi Schmid in a club statement.

“He has more MLS experience than many players on our roster and we’re happy to have him back.”

Husidic joined the Galaxy in 2014 from Swedish side Hammarby IF, after starting his MLS career with the Chicago Fire. He was part of the Galaxy’s 2014 MLS Cup winning side, and is three appearances away from completing 100 with Los Angeles.
