It’s been a great year for Chicago’s Chance the Rapper. He’s won three Grammy Awards — and was nominated for seven more in November — in addition to other honors. He’s raised more than $2 million for Chicago Public Schools. And he’s performed across the country on a tour to support 2016’s “Coloring Book” album.
Here’s a look back, by month, at his accomplishments through Dec. 22 — as if written himself in a yearly planner — with video, social media postings and stories to back them up.
Plotting Chance’s year
- Performance
- Award or honor
- Talkshows, magazine covers, celebrity appearances
- Activism and giving back to the community
