The FBI is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man suspected of robbing four northwest suburban banks within three weeks, including on Wednesday.
The man robbed a TCF Bank branch at 217 Irving Park Road in Streamwood around 6 p.m. Wednesday, according to the FBI.
The same person is suspected in three other robberies in the past month.
Dec. 13 around 6:45 p.m. at the TCF Bank at 1860 S. Arlington Heights Road in Arlington Heights
Dec. 10 at 3:45 p.m. at the TCF Bank at 13200 Village Green Drive in Huntley
Dec. 1 at 3 p.m. at the Chase Bank at 300 Northwest Highway in Cary
The robber is a white man, between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10, with a “small” build, the FBI said.
He was believed to be wearing a black wig with hair extending below his shoulders and has also worn a baseball cap or skully and a pair of sunglasses in previous heists.
