Major League Soccer announced Friday an increase in the amount of Targeted Allocation Money available for every club in 2018 and 2019.
Clubs will have the ability of spending up to $2.8 million of Targeted Allocation Money per year for roster purposes.
The new allotment represents an increase from the $1.2 million already assigned by MLS to the clubs. Any amount spent beyond the basic league assignment must come from team funding.
