A Decatur woman was charged with drunken driving with two unrestrained young children in her vehicle, Aurora police said.
Police were called around 2:22 a.m. Friday for reports of a vehicle that was swerving on the roadway near East Galena Boulevard and South West Street. Officers located the vehicle and observed the driver perform several traffic violations, police said.
A traffic stop was conducted near South Lake Street and Downer Place and police spoke with the driver, Chelsey Gossard, 33. Police said Gossard smelled of alcohol and noted that there were two unrestrained children seated in the rear of the car.
Gossard told police she was on her way back to her home from visiting her boyfriend in Aurora.

A field sobriety test was conducted, and Gossard was charged with drunken driving. She was also cited for improper lane usage and having children under the age of 8 not properly restrained, police said.
