An Aurora man is charged with aggravated DUI after police said his car hit a vehicle on Montgomery Road and then ran into a fence.
Dante Dodds, 35, 4000 block of Marble Court, was charged with aggravated drunken driving, no insurance, driving on a suspended license and other traffic violations at 8:22 p.m. Friday following an accident near Montgomery Road and Hill Avenue, Aurora police said.
According to police, witnesses observed Dodds driving eastbound in the westbound lanes on Montgomery Road when he sideswiped an oncoming vehicle and went off the roadway and drove into a fence. Dodds refused medical treatment.
One passenger inside the vehicle Dodds struck was taken to an Aurora hospital with injuries, police said.
