Many things have occurred since the surprising and totally unanticipated election of Donald Trump. It would be hard to rank which is the most important of those consequences. If Hillary Clinton had been elected president, the current revelations regarding the “rigging” of the Democrat primary leveled by former interim Democratic National Committee Chair Donna Brazile would not have been exposed. Uranium One and Fusion GPS would not have not seen the light of day, nor would there be any Russian election interference investigations.

Ask yourself this: If Clinton were president, would the avalanche of sexual harassment claims that fill the news universe every day even have been mentioned at all? Would Harvey Weinstein’s possible criminal behavior been revealed? Would Illinois’ corrupt Democratic leadership in Springfield be scrambling to fill an ethics position that has been empty for three years now that sexual harassment claims from a year ago have reared their ugly head?

It is safe to assume that under a Clinton presidency, the infamous Hollywood casting couch would be getting reupholstered, and Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan and Senate President John Cullerton’s three-year indifference to ethics would now be entering its fourth year with any eye toward infinity.
