A 4-year-old girl found on a South Side street Monday morning has been identified and reunited with her mother, according to Chicago police.
The girl was found near 63rd Street and Ashland Avenue in the West Englewood neighborhood around 11 a.m., police said.
After an initial police alert asking the public’s help identifying the girl, an alert sent out at 4:45 p.m. confirmed she had been reunited with her mother.
Area South detectives had been investigating.
