Oak Forest police are seeking information about a shooting that left a man wounded in the city late Friday night.
Police responded to a call of shots fired in the 4800 block of 157th Street at 11:19 p.m.
A man, whose identity was not released, was rushed to Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn for a gunshot wound and underwent surgery, police said.

“This was an isolated incident and the Oak Forest police are currently investigating the matter,” Oak Forest Police Chief Timothy Kristin said in a statement.
