A motorcyclist was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 7:32 p.m. Friday near Sullivan Road and North Lake Street, Aurora police said.
According to police, a man was traveling southbound on North Lake Street at the intersection of Sullivan Road when he observed the traffic light change to green for southbound traffic and continued through the intersection.
Arpana Kumari, no age or address provided, was traveling eastbound on West Sullivan Road, approaching the intersection of North Lake Street, when she allegedly ignored the traffic signal and collided with the motorcyclist in the intersection, police said.
The motorcyclist was taken to an Aurora hospital for treatment. Kumari was cited for disobeying a traffic control signal, police said.
