Rhyan Komsthoeft of La Grange is a senior at Lyons Township High School. She is interested in pursuing a career related to music.

Q: What do you like about Lyons Township High School?

A: There are so many opportunities. There is something for everyone whether you are into music or sports.

Q: Are you going to college?

A: I am applying now. I thinking about studying music therapy. I want to incorporate music with helping people.

Q: What instruments do you play?

A: Guitar, ukelele, a little hamonica. But my favorite is piano because I’ve played that the longest.

Q: What activities are you involved in at LT?

A: I swim and I play water polo. And I am in the National Honor Society.

Q: Do you have siblings?

A: I have two siblings. My parent’s names are Amy and James

Q: What is your favorite TV show?

A: ‘The Office’

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: It’s definitely strawberry ice cream.

Q: What advice would you give to a freshman at LT?

A: I’d probably say try anything that sounds interesting, go for it because your senior year will roll around and you will regret not trying things.

Q: Who are your favorite musicians?

A: Adele and Billy Joel.

Q: What is your pet peeve?

A: Slow walkers, especially in the hallway when you’re trying to get to class.
