A New York City woman was killed in a homicide-suicide Tuesday in Cicero, authorities determined following autopsies Wednesday.
Sara Rebeca Roche Hidalgo, 38, of Bronx, New York, died from a gunshot wound to the head, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Her death was ruled a homicide.
A man, whose age was not released but who police said was in his 20s, also died from a gunshot wound to the head, but his death was ruled a suicide.
Roche Hidalgo was found dead around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday along with the body the in the 5100 block of West 25th Place in Cicero, a town spokesman said. Police have released no information on the circumstances of the deaths.
No other details were immediately released by police.
