When flood waters rise and homes are evacuated, pet owners often have no option but to give up their cats and dogs. PAWS Chicago is partnering with the Houston Bureau of Animal Control (BARC) to give these furry friends a home in the wake of disaster. Four rescue vans from PAWS have been dispatched to affected areas to bring these recently-forfeited pets to Chicago and help them find new forever homes.
