Major League Soccer has suspended Orlando City SC midfielder Will Johnson, the league announced Wednesday.
Johnson was arrested early Wednesday on charges of domestic battery, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Johnson, 30, got involved in a domestic dispute with his wife late Tuesday night, tackling her by “wrapping both of his arms completely around her waist,” according to the police report.
The couple have been going through a process of divorce after a five-year marriage.
Johnson is in the middle of his first season with Orlando City. He signed a two-year contract with an option at the end of the current season.
