Main Street Pub’s slogan is “specialty burgers and craft beers” and there are numerous options for each.

The half-pound burgers are available with Angus beef, grilled chicken breast or a vegetarian patty. And there are 18 varieties, including Buffalo Bleu, Bulleit Bourbon, Diablo, Drunken Pear, Gringo, Hangover and Patron Del Fuego. On three kinds of buns.

“Our evolving menu is constantly introducing new specials and seasonal favorites. Our concept is based around half-pound burgers with a wide variety of toppings,” said Kevin Hahn, one of four owners who also include his brother, Brian. “Our veggie burger is a homemade black bean and quinoa-based veggie patty.”

And each dish comes with a choice of six side options. “We also have an assortment of appetizers and salads to choose from,” Hahn said. “Each month we feature a new appetizer selection and a burger.”

Check out the website one day and you might find Snake Bites — fried wontons stuffed with cheese, beans and jalapenos — and another see day see the Bourbon Bacon Jam Burger.

Rounding out the food menu are starters, salads and sides, with the emphasis on burgers.

“Our burgers have grown very popular over the last five years since opening the original pub location in Naperville,” Hahn said. “Our menu is identical at all three locations. Customers can expect the same level of quality at the new location in St. Charles.”

Also, there are 20 beer taps at each restaurant, Hahn said. “Our tap lines are constantly rotating so there is always something new for the customer to try.”

About the owners: Brothers Brian and Kevin Hahn, of Naperville, opened a spot in their hometown in 2012 and in Glen Ellyn in 2015. Main Street Pub in St. Charles opened in May.

Philosophy: “Our philosophy is to bring elevated options of American cuisine to the suburbs that people can enjoy in a comfortable and laid-back environment. Our main focus is on our quality of food and customer service,” Hahn said.

Decor: “Our decor at all three locations has an industrial pub feel featuring brick, wood and metal accents. In St. Charles we did an extensive remodel from the existing restaurant. We wanted the restaurant to have more of a modern industrial feel,” Hahn said.
