Don’t worry, there’s still hope — you just have to buy a dog.
Researchers at National Today surveyed 3,000 American pooch owners about their four-legged friends in honor of National Dog Day on Saturday.
According to the results, 59 percent of men and 66 percent of women agreed that dog parents are sexier than non-dog parents.
Approximately 64 percent of people surveyed said their dogs help them be more loving and patient (ah, good human), and 86 percent love their dogs for the comfort they bring.
But don’t sweat it if your pocketbook won’t allow a pup purchase; 67 percent of men and 79 percent of women said someone who simply expresses outward affection for dogs is also attractive.
So now would be a good time to borrow your BFF’s pooch and snap a new profile pic.
