Get ready to put your best slurp face on for Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya’s (1482 N. Milwaukee Ave.) anime movie nights.
Each week in August the Wicker Park restaurant will host both an anime movie and anime marathon night, with part of the proceeds going towards a different charity from each screening. The film will be played with full sound and on multiple screens so all attendees will be able to see.
Ten percent of proceeds from dessert sales of items like matcha soft serve ice cream, tiramisu and Japanese popsicles will be donated to the charities. Guests also have the option to reserve a table for a suggested $2 per person. Reservations can be made through eventbrite.com and are encouraged, although first come, first serve free-admission seating will be available.
