An unknown Mega Millions player won $1 million in Tuesday evening’s Quick Pick drawing after purchasing the ticket from a Speedway gas station in Alsip, officials said.
The five winning numbers were 20-22-52-57-73, Illinois Lottery officials said in a statement. They added that the gas station at 5320 West 127th St. will also receive 1 percent of the value of the winning ticket — $10,000 — for selling ticket.
Anyone who bought a Mega Millions ticket from the retailer should check their tickets for the lucky numbers, officials said.
The winner has one year to collect their prize, and officials said they must sign the back of their ticket before claiming it at any Illinois Prize Center.
Officials said the winner can visit one of five centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield, or Fairview Heights.
Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot still stands at $323 million, officials said. Drawings are announced at 10 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
