Country Financial will be giving away 1,000 free Yoberri gourmet ice cream sundaes on Thursday, Aug. 10 in Daley Plaza (50 W. Washington St.) to celebrate National Farmers Market Week.
Yoberri (2224 N. Clark St.) is a regular vendor at the Daley Plaza market, serving up its local artisan frozen treats.
Visitors to the market on Thursday will receive one scoop of Yoberri’s vanilla, chocolate or mint chocolate ice cream, as well as a strawberry, chocolate or caramel sauce and cherries or sprinkles.
Country Financial has sponsored the market, which runs every Thursday from May to October, for the past 11 years.
The market will be in Daley Plaza from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., though the giveaway starts at 10 a.m. and will continue while supplies last.
