As he left the Oak Park farmers market on Lake Street June 24, Joe Paul, 26, of Oak Park answered a few questions for the Oak Leaves.
Q: What brought you to the market today?
A: I came for the doughnuts. It varies week to week. I don’t really come with a plan, I just see what they have.
Q: Any activities you look forward to when summer rolls around?
A: Just walking around enjoying all the architecture. We live pretty close to the Frank Lloyd Wright home and studio.
Q: Have you taken the tour there?
A: No, I’m in grad school so I’m not sure how long we’re going to be here. I want to get it in.
Q: Where do you go to school?
A: Roosevelt University downtown. I’m studying psychology.
Q: Did you go to Butler University for undergrad?
A: I did go to Butler.
Q: Any favorite spots in Indianapolis?
A: There’s a place called Union Jack Pub that’s a British pub with the best pizza I’ve ever had.
Q: Cubs or Sox?
A: Definitely Cubs. I’ve always been a Cubs fan.
Q: Where were you when they won the World Series?
A: I was downtown. We left right after Aroldis Chapman blew it. I was on the train and ran home and caught the end.
Q: Favorite local restaurant?

Q: Current book you’re reading?
