A Led Zeppelin cover band, bingo and fireworks are part of the attractions for a four-day festival in Chicago Ridge.

RidgeFest, which begins Thursday and end Sunday, will be held Freedom Park, 6252 Birmingham St.

Debbie Aguinaga, who’s helped organize the event for 17 years, said the festival’s schedule will feature a variety of entertainment that should satisfy all attendants.

“There’s something for everybody,” she said. “I love seeing the families out there having fun, it’s one of the reasons I do it.”

She described the festival as a family experience, which includes magic and comedy shows, inflatables and circus themed activities from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Adults can also enjoy the festivities. There will be live performances, which includes a performance by the Led Zepplin 2, starting at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, and bingo on Saturday and Sunday, a beer garden, and a classic car show on Sunday, festival officials said.

“We have all kinds of different foods from Greek to Chinese, ice cream vendors, music, and carnival rides for all ages,” Aguinaga said.

Sunday will close with a fireworks display at 9:45 p.m., Aguinaga said.

Admission is $5 Thursday, Friday and Sunday, while the cost is $7 Saturday. Proceeds from the 28-year-old festival benefit community organizations, such as the Girl Scouts, local schools and library.

“I’m part of something that gives back,” Aguinaga said.
