Local artisans will display their works Saturday during the 13th annual Frankfort Fine Arts Fair at Breidert Green.

The fair, in downtown Frankfort on Kansas and White streets, will include 23 local artists, primarily from the Frankfort and Lincoln-Way areas, according to village spokeswoman Mary Canino.

The works of art range from oils, water colors, pottery and calligraphy, along with other media. Artists will be on hand to discuss their work.

The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and also features live music. Harpist Lily Bowen, of Chicago, will perform from 10 a.m. to noon. Then, Brandon Reyes, of Bourbonnais, will perform a solo set on jazz vibraphone, Canino said.

“The fine arts fair continues to be a crowd favorite and a great showcase for our local artistic talent,” Frankfort Mayor Jim Holland said in a release. “It also provides an opportunity for visitors to enjoy our downtown area, its shops and restaurants.”

In case of rain, the event will be held in the Founders Center, 140 Oak St., Frankfort.
