CME Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Terry Duffy has returned to work after recovering from a collapsed lung suffered in May, the company said Wednesday.
The CME operates the world’s largest futures exchange. It is based in Chicago, with trades from about 200 countries worldwide.
The CME announced Duffy’s illness May 24 when he was unable to attend the company’s annual shareholders meeting. While recovering, Duffy had made occasional trips to the office, the CME said.
