World Series rings are great and all, but they can’t help you make birdies.

That’s where Bettinardi Golf comes in. The Tinley Park-based company

has produced World Series commemorative putters that will be gifted to players Tuesday afternoon at Wrigley Field. Bettinardi did the same for the 2005 White Sox and 2010 Blackhawks.

The fitted putters contain Cubs and World Series logos, a blue ‘W’ and stamps of ‘1908’ and ‘2016’ on the heel and toe. The head cover matches the Cubs’ pinstriped home jersey.

Several Cubs pitchers — namely Jake Arrieta, Jon Lester, John Lackey and Kyle Hendricks — love the links. Hendricks’ dad was a teaching professional who played in the 1991 PGA Championship.

Manager Joe Maddon said he plays about once a year: “I do enjoy it. But if I have four hours, I’m riding my bike.”
