Roof on theWit (201 N. State St.) in the Loop is kicking off its Movie Monday series on Monday, June 5 with a screening of “Rogue One” and a “Star Wars” costume contest.

The rest of the summer will feature Oscar winner “La La Land” on June 26, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” on July 3, “Office Christmas Party” on July 17, “The Lego Batman Movie” on July 31, “Kong: Skull Island” on Aug. 21 and “Fifty Shades Darker” on Aug. 28.
Each screening will have complimentary popcorn for guests, so think of all the money you’ll save on $10 jumbo buckets that nobody in their right mind would finish anyway.
Movies start at dusk, so plan to show up around 8 p.m. to be able to grab a table and settle in before showtime.
