Magnolia Bakery has announced their “Summer Bananza” and will release four new, limited edition banana pudding flavors this summer.
Throughout the New York bakery’s creative strides (which opened in Chicago in 2011), what remains consistent is their famously tasty banana pudding filled with vanilla wafers, bananas, and magic (we think). In addition to their classic flavor and chocolate take on the original, Magnolia will be rolling out four new flavors, one each month, this summer.
Their first flavor, Rainbow—available June 5—will add confetti sprinkles and whipped cream to the classic pudding.
July’s flavor is Magic Bar, which will be loaded with toasted coconut, graham crackers, and chocolate chips.
S’mores will arrive in August with layers of chocolate pudding, graham crackers, marshmallow fluff, marshmallow, and chocolate shavings.
The last flavor, to be released in September, is Salted Caramel: a perfect combination of salty and sweet. This banana pudding variety will have layers of dulce de leche pudding and homemade salted caramel made with Maldon sea salt.
Each flavor will only be available during the month it releases, so we definitely won’t judge you if you make a trip to the downtown location (108 N. State St. 312-346-7777) multiple times over the season.
