The Decay Devils are looking for volunteers to help finish landscaping at Gary’s Union Station on Sunday.
The artist collective is putting the finishing touches on a monthslong project to repurpose the former train depot into a public art site.
The group is seeking volunteers to help rebrick and clean the site, make benches, plant trees, install lighting and help install an irrigation system.
Since April, the group has worked to clean up the site and install murals around the lower end of the building.
Work will start at 10 a.m. Food from Q’s BBQ will be provided.
Union Station is near 2nd Avenue and Broadway, near the entrance to U.S. Steel.
