An Uptown man suspected of exposing himself at a local high school was ordered held in lieu of $100,000 bail during a Sunday court hearing.

Hamud Ubidul, 62, was arrested Friday at Senn High School in Edgewater after several people reported seeing him masturbating and urinating on campus grounds, prosecutors and police said.

Ubidul, who was a visitor to the school, was charged with public indecency and exposure at a school, a felony.

He appeared before a judge at the Leighton Criminal Court Building on Sunday afternoon.

At least four witnesses, including students and a staff member, reported the incident to campus police, who detained Ubidul about 11 a.m., prosecutors said.

Ubidul told police he had a clinic appointment at the school but could not get in through the main entrance. He said he “had to urinate” because of his diabetes and chose to do so near a row of bicycles on campus, according to court documents.
