The three most recent Stanley Cup-winning Blackhawks teams placed among the 50 greatest NHL teams of all time in a fan poll.

The poll began with all 96 Cup winners, then was narrowed down to the top 50 in the first round of voting on NHL.com. In the second round, which is now underway and will run through May 18, the list will be reduced to the top 20. The NHL will announce the top 10 teams during the Cup final.

Of the three Blackhawks teams on the list, the 2012-13 squad was the most dominant. That team went unbeaten in its first 24 games and finished 36-7-5 — a winning percentage of .802 — in a 48-game season that was delayed by a labor dispute. The Hawks went on to win the Cup in six games over the Bruins, capped off by the remarkable two-goals-in-17-seconds comeback in Boston.
