Janet Jackson is going on tour this fall. Fifty-six cities have been announced for her “State of the World” tour, which comes to the Allstate Arena on October 26.

Jackson’s last outing, the “Unbreakable” tour, was in 2015, an outing cut short as Jackson took a year off to focus on her family and the birth of her first child. The just-announced tour picks some of the postponed 2015 dates, with new cities added. Tickets for the rescheduled “Unbreakable” dates will be honored.

The singer discussed the tour via video message at her official site, as well as confirming rumors about a split from her husband, Wissam Al Mana, who she married in 2012. “Yes, I separated from my husband, yes we are in court. The rest is in God’s hands.”

This year’s tour begins in Lafayette, La. and concludes, four months later, in Atlanta, Ga. Jackson is said to be working on some new music, which led some to speculate that the countdown at the singer’s official website might be a new album. Her announcement ended that mystery.

Tickets go on sale Friday via Ticketmaster. For more information, visit the Janet Jackson website.
