We’ve said it a thousand times before: Summer is almost here. If you need more proof, we have it. Cindy’s, the popular rooftop bar on the 13th floor of the Chicago Athletic Association, is adding an outdoor bar on its terrace, stocked with boozy popsicles and ice cream pops.
With one of the best views in the city, wasting time waiting for a drink at the current single bar inside isn’t ideal. The addition of this new terrace outdoor bar will let guests soak up the sun for the entirety of their visit.
In addition to the boozy sweet treats, a variety of rosé options will be flowing freely as well as large-format cocktails offered on a rotating basis.
The flavors of ice cream pops were created by pastry chef Jove Hubbard, according to Eater, and were available at a limited release pop-up last summer. According to Eater, the flavors included the cara cara dreamsicle, strawberry rosé and macchiato.
The full menu is yet to be released but the addition is set to open mid-May, just in time for rooftop season to be in full swing.
