Everybody’s favorite rabbit will pose for photos with families at Clarendon Hills Park District’s Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, 8:30-10:30 a.m. April 14 at Clarendon Hills Middle School, 301 Chicago Ave.
While you wait for your visit with the Bunny, you can snack on a small breakfast of donuts, milk, juice and coffee from 8:30-10 a.m. “Also included is a magician. He will be performing from 9:30 to 10:30,” said recreation supervisor Valerie Louthan. “We’ll be doing face painting and washable tattoos. We’re excited to offer this great morning. It is a fun time.”
The cost is $5 per person. Registration is required.
The breakfast will be followed by a free Easter Egg Hunt on the Middle School grounds, which is open to everyone. Many of the plastic eggs will contain special prizes. Participants should bring a basket for collecting their booty. Ages 3-4 will search at 10:50 a.m.; 5-8 at 11:10 a.m.; and 9-12 at 11:30 a.m.

That ever-busy hare and his spouse will also pop up at Breakfast with the Bunny in the Discovery Center at Brookfield Zoo, 1st Avenue and 31st Street, Brookfield. Seatings are 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on April 8, 9 and 15. Entertainment includes Banjo Buddies, costumed characters and photos with Mr. and Mrs. Bunny. The cost is $29.95 for adults; $21.95 for ages 3-11. Reservations are required.

Youngsters should bring a flashlight and a parent to the Tween Flashlight Egg Hunt, 8-8:30 p.m. April 7 at Sedgwick Park, 48th Street and 10th Avenue, La Grange. It costs $5 to hunt for plastic eggs filled with candy or tickets for prizes. Registration is required.
