The Flossmoor Village Board approved last week a proposed building development on Vollmer Road that will house a Starbucks, an AT&T store and one to two other businesses.
The board unanimously approved the 7,420 square foot building at a March 6 meeting.
The building will be located on an outlot of the Meijer superstore at 3800 Vollmer Road.
A Starbucks currently operating in the grocery store also will remain open, Village Manager Bridget Wachtel said.
In the plan, about 2,990 square feet remain for one to two other businesses. Wachtel said the developer, the Glazier Corporation, is looking into fast casual dining.

In January, the village unanimously approved the development of a Buona Beef, an Italian beef chain, in the Meijer outlot near the BP gas station, Wachtel said.
The developer is working on final engineering and construction drawings to apply for a building permit, village officials said.
