A: Naperville

Q: How long have been police chief?

A: About 2 months

Q: What jobs did you have in the Western Springs Police Department prior to being police chief?

A: I was ordinance control officer, telecommunicator, patrol officer, detective, and deputy chief

Q: What do you enjoy about your job?

A: Making a meaningful impact on our residents by keeping the community safe and serving others to make it a great place to live.

Q: What is your wife’s name and how many kids do you have?

A: Jeannie and I have five children.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: Cycling, scuba diving and swimming — to name a few.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Deep dish pizza from Gino’s East.

Q: What is your favorite book?

A: I don’t have one in particular, but I am inspired by any book pertaining to leadership.

Q: What is your favorite movie?

A: All of the ‘Rocky’ movies.

Q. If you could have a super power, what would it be?

A: To be able to slow time. It goes by too fast especially as we get older.
