A downtown Aurora sporting goods store has been vandalized three times since Feb. 20, according to Aurora police.
The store, in the first block of East Downer Street, was most recently targeted between 1 and 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, when someone threw a blunt object through a large storefront window causing $1,000 in damages, police spokesman Dan Ferrelli said in an email.
Nothing was apparently missing, Ferrelli said.
Windows were also broken in the previous incidents, he said.
Police ask anyone with information to call Aurora police investigators at 630-256-5500 or Aurora Area Crime Stoppers at 630-892-1000.
Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
