Three men accused of recently robbing a couple outside of a Crestwood bar and fleeing in a stolen car appeared Tuesday in Cook County bond court.
Bail was set at $250,000 for both Michael Nichols, 23, of Green Bay, Wis., and Givontae Surratt, 19, of South Holland. A third defendant, Tajuan Rials, 19, of Harvey, had bail set a $500,000.
All three men are charged with armed robbery in an incident Saturday night at Smokin Hot Smokehouse, 13849 Cicero Ave, prosecutors said.
A fourth suspect remains at large, prosecutors said.
Nichols, Surratt and Rial were arrested following a police chase in which their stolen Infinity SUV collided with a Blue Island police vehicle, prosecutors said. The driver, who has not identified, fled on foot following the crash.
Prosecutors said a man and a woman were sitting in a car outside of the bar when they were approached by the assailants in dark clothing. One of the robbers pushed a gun into the woman’s side, prosecutors said. A friend of the woman’s also witnessed the crime.
The Infinity was reported stolen out of Calumet Park, prosecutors said. Additional charges in that incident are pending. The defendants are expected to appear in Markham Courthouse on Wednesday in the stolen vehicle case.

Nichols allegedly told police he witnessed the other two defendants hijack the Infinity, prosecutors said.
After the crash, police recovered items belonging to the vehicles, including car keys and wallets, prosecutors said.
Nichols, Surratt and Rials return to Bridgeview court on March 17.
