A car and home were struck by gunfire late Friday night on Aurora’s East Side.
At about 11:30 p.m. Friday, a home on the 700 block of Second Avenue and a car parked in its driveway were hit several times by bullets, police spokesman Dan Ferrelli said in an email.
A gray Impala was seen speeding from the area right after the shots were fired, Ferrelli said, noting that no further suspect description is available.
No injuries were reported, and the shooting caused $1,500 in damage, Ferrelli said. It’s unknown if the Second Avenue shooting is related to two others that occurred over the weekend, he said.
