The Hampshire “Meet the Candidates Night,” scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Hampshire High School, has been canceled.

The Hampshire Area Chamber of Commerce had originally offered to help sponsor the event.

“We are a non-political organization,” said Josh Austin, the chamber’s vice president. “We found that nobody was organizing, moderating or coordinating the event. There was nothing for us to advertise or get the word out about it.”
