A man was arrested Monday for allegedly performing a lewd act at an Orland Park recreation center, police said.
Miguel Ochoa, 31, of Orland Park, was charged with one count of public indecency after police received a call about a suspicious male at Franklin Loebe Recreation Center, officials said.
An attendant observed Ochoa allegedly performing the lewd act near the gym area. A youth volleyball team was practicing in the gym at the time. The attendant ordered him to stop and leave the building, Orland Park Police said.
Police quickly located and arrested Ochoa after he exited the building. The Village of Orland Park has banned Ochoa from entering all Village-owned facilities, police said..
Ochoa posted the required bond and was released. He will appear in court on March 28 in Bridgeview.
